This release supports the following systems: - ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X, 770Z Note: This upgrade program is not for use with RPC II type DVD drive. There is a "RPC II" or "FRU P/N 05K9196" printed on the label of a RPC II type DVD drive cover. To determine whether you have to update the program, refer to "Summary of Changed and Fixed Items." To update the program, refer to the "Installation Guide." Installation Guide ------------------ Note: - Use this driver only for the ThinkPad 600E and 770 series. - Windows 95 version must be OSR2 or later. - Before installing, make sure that you have installed the following software in the computer: - The latest Video Features for Windows 95/98 - The latest Audio Features for Windows 95/98 - DVD-Video Player for Windows 95/98 - The latest MPEG Features (for 770 series with DEVA card only) (*) - This package cannot be installed without the Mediamatics DVDExpress DVD-Video player installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purpose only. 1. Start Windows 95/98. 2. Extract the package to your hard drive. 3. Click on Start -> Run... 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DVDEXPRESS\SETUP.EXE in the dialog box and click on OK. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
