What This Package Does
-----------------------
The accompanying InterVideo WinDVD Upgrade package can update the
InterVideo WinDVD Player in the ThinkPad system.

The following ThinkPad computers are supported:

 - ThinkPad A31, A31p (*1)
 - ThinkPad T30 (*1)(*2)
 - ThinkPad R31 (*1)
 - ThinkPad R32 (*3)

NOTES:
*1: Supports Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000/XP only.
*2: Only the following T30 models support Windows Me:
    2366/2367-x1x, x2x, x3x, x4x, x5x, A6x, and A7x,
    except for M1x, M2x, M3x, M4x, and M5x
*3: Supports Windows 98/NT4/2000/XP only.

To update the program, refer to the "Installation instructions" section.

Installation instructions
-------------------------
Note:
- This driver is only supported on the ThinkPads listed above.
- This package can not be installed without the InterVideo WinDVD already
  installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purpose only.

 1. Start Windows.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Specify the cpuidpatch.exe with the full path name where you copied
    the package, and click OK.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
Start Windows. 

1. Click Start, then click Run. 
2. Specify cpuidpatch.exe with the full path where you copied the package,     and click OK. 
    Example: C:\temp\cpuidpatch.exe
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
