What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the following utilities (for IBM CE).
- Add/Read/Delete System-unit Serial Number data in EEPROM.
- Add/Read/Delete System board (Planar) Serial Number data in EEPROM.
- Generate new UUID (Universal Unique ID).

This package supports the following ThinkPad computers:
  - ThinkPad 240X
  - ThinkPad 240Z 
  - ThinkPad i Series 1124

To determine if you have to update the CE Utility Diskette,
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To use the CE Utility Diskette, refer to the "Installation
Instructions" section.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
1. Create the CE Utility Diskette.
2. Insert the CE Utility Diskette into the diskette drive and power on
   the computer.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
