What This Package Does

This package provides the ATI Chipset Support of the following chipset.
- ATI RS200/RS200M

This package enables or updates the ATI Chipset's specific 
functionality of the following ThinkPad computers:

  - ThinkPad R40e(*1)

  NOTE:
     *1: Only Windows XP is supported.

To update the ATI Chipset Support Software, refer to the Installation 
instructions section.

Installation instructions:
--------------------------
 1. Start Windows XP and login as an administrator.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start and then click Run.
 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\CHIPSET\WINXP\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and 
    click OK.
 5. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.


Determining which version is installed:
---------------------------------------
The version of the software can also be identified by examining the
following :
 1. Right-click My Computer and select Properties.
 2. Click the Hardware tab and click Device Manager.
 3. Double-click System devices.
 4. Right-click ATI RS200/RS200M Accelerated Graphics Port and 
    select Properties.
 5. Click the Driver tab.
