Install 1. Start Windows 98 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then click Run. 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W98\AUDIO\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click the OK button. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. 6. Click Finish and Reboot the system when prompt in order to complete the installation. Uninstall 1. Start Windows 98. 2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel. 3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 4. Click on SoundMAX x86 VM General MIDI Server and then click Add/Remove. A dialog box will appear. 5. Click OK. 6. Click OK and reboot the system to fully uninstall the drivers. Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- 1. Start Windows 98. 2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel. 3. Double click the System icon. 4. Click the Device Manager tab. 5. Expand the 'Sound, video and game controllers' section 6. Select 'SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio' and click Properties. 7. Click the Driver tab. 8. Click the Driver File details button. 9.
