It enables you to quickly switch the network settings and Internet settings by selecting a location profile. You can define the network settings and Internet settings in the Location Profile for modem/wired LAN/Wireless LAN network devices, and then restore that profile whenever you need it. By switching the location profile, you can connect to the network instantly without reconfiguring your settings when you move from office to home or on the road. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section. Manual Install This section assumes to use Internet Explorer and Explorer. Downloading files 1. Click once on the underlined file name with the left mouse button. Once this is done, a pop-up window will appear. 2. In this pop-up window, choose (using the left mouse button) the directory you would like to download the file to and click the "Save" button. A different window will appear and the download will begin and complete without your assistance. 3. Once the download has completed, there may or may not be a message stating that the download completed successfully. 4. After being downloaded, the file will need to be extracted. Installing 1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\W2K\ACCON. 3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run. 4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\W2K\ACCON\SETUP.EXE 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. 6. Click Finish to reboot the system and complete the installation. Finally delete the file saved in the step 2. Unattended Install This is for system administrators' use only. - Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the files. - At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -S -SMS options.
