Installation Guide ------------------ (Note) - To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the "Summary of Changes" section. INSTALL: 1. Start Windows XP, 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PWRMGR. 3. Click Start, then click Run... 4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PWRMGR\SETUP.EXE. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. UNINSTALL: 1. Start Windows Windows XP, 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Click Start, then click Control Panel. 3. Click Add/Remove Programs. 4. Click ThinkPad Power Manager driver, then click the Add/Remove... button. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
