INSTALL: 1. Start Windows XP, 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PWRMGR. 3. Click Start, then click Run... 4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\W2K\PWRMGR\SETUP.EXE. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. UNINSTALL: 1. Start Windows Windows XP, 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Click Start, then click Control Panel. 3. Click Add/Remove Programs. 4. Click ThinkPad Power Manager driver, then click the Add/Remove... button. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. Silent Installation Guide (for Unattended Installation support) --------------------------------------------------------------- (Note) This is for system administrators' use only. When you type [Program Path]\SETUP in the above installation guide, add "-S -SMS" parameter to SETUP. (You need to type "[Program Path]\SETUP -S -SMS" in "Run...". ) HOW TO DETERMINE WHAT VERSION IS INSTALLED: 1. Click Start, select All Programs, select ThinkVantage, then select Power Manager. 2.
