To determine if you should apply the patch, refer to the Version Information section. - Make sure the Wireless LAN driver for each Wireless LAN adapter has been installed, prior to applying the patch. - You need an AC adapter and a charged battery pack to apply the patch. Attention: Do not turn off or suspend the computer until the patch has been completed. IF YOU DO THAT WHILE THE PATCH IS STILL IN PROGRESS, THE WIRELESS LAN ADAPTER MAY HAVE TO BE REPLACED. Applying the patch: 1. Start Windows XP, 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\77WK01WW 3. Click Start, then click Run... 4. Specify ArEEP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\77WK01WW\ArEEP.EXE 5. Wait for the prompt, "This module was updated". 6.
