What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the software support for the tablet buttons
on ThinkPad.  Only Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005 is supported.

The following model is supported:
  - ThinkPad X41 Tablet


* If you are using Tablet Shortcut Menu, please re-install the Tablet
  Shortcut Menu package after updating Tablet Button Driver.

Installation instructions
-------------------------
Note:
- ThinkPad Software Installer provides install/(uninstall) wizard
  for this package.

INSTALL:
 1. Start Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005.
 2. Logon with administrative privileges.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Click the Browse button.
 5. Select the folder where Tablet Button Driver package is stored.
 6. Select Setup.exe.
 7. Click the Open button.
 8. Click OK.
 9. Select a language when Choose Setup Language popup panel appears,
    and click OK.
10. Click Next.
11. Restart the system.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
 1. Start Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005.
 2. For Windows XP with Classic Start menu, click Start,
    point to Settings, and click Control Panel.
    Otherwise, click Start, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
 4. Select "IBM ThinkPad Tablet Button Driver."
 5. Click "Click here for support information."
 6. See version number on the dialog panel.


UNATTENDED INSTALL:
 This is for system administrators' use only.
 1. Start Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005.
 2. Logon with administrative privileges.
 3. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 4. Click Start, the click Run...
 5. Type [Program Path]\setup -s -SMS and click OK.
    [Program Path] is the full path name where you extracted
    the package in the step 3.
