This package provides the Modem driver Conexant modem for systems

Installation instructions
-------------------------
Clean install

INSTALL:
 1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
 3. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
 4. Specify setup.exe with the full path name where you extracted
    the package in step 2, then click OK.
 5. The device driver will be installed.  Click Next.
      1) If the message, "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" 
         appears, click Allow.
      2) If the message "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" 
         appears , click Install this driver software anyway.
      3) If the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears, 
         click This program installed correctly.
 6. If needed, restart the system.


Update install
 1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
 3. With Windows classic, Click start, then click Control panel.
 4. Select System, then click Device Manager.
      1) If the message "Windows needs your permission to continue" 
         appears, click continue.
 5. Select Modem, then right-click Agere Systems HDA Modem.
 6. Click Update Driver Software... then click "Browse my computer for driver 
    software."
 7. Click Browse... then the file you extracted in step 2. 
 8. The device driver will be installed and clicked next button.
      1) If the message "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" 
         appears, click Allow.
 9. If needed, restart the system.


Uninstall
 1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. With Windows classic, Click Start, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click Programs and Features.
 4. Select Agere Systems HDA Modem.
 5. Click Uninstall/Change. The device driver will be uninstalled automatically.
 6. If needed, restart the system.


[Unattended Install]
UNATTENDED INSTALL(For <OS'S>):
This is for system administrators use only.

This version has only UNATTENDED INSTALL. 
It is the same as the procedure of INSTALL written above. 
 1. Start Windows Vista and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
 3. Click Start and open a command prompt.
 4. Specify "setup.exe -s" with the full path name where you extracted
    the package in the step 2, then click OK.
 5. The device driver will be installed automatically.
      1) If the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears, 
         click This program installed correctly.
 6. If needed, restart the system.
