What This Package Does
-----------------------
This package provides the utilities related for the special keys and
buttons on your computer. The special keys and buttons are designed
on the accessibility and usability. The utilities enable the full
functionality for the special keys and buttons.

The following ThinkPad systems are supported:

  - Lenovo 3000 C100 (*1)
  - Lenovo 3000 N100 (*1)
  - Lenovo 3000 V100 (*1)

  (Note) *1: Only Windows XP is supported.

Technical Information
---------------------

 - The command line control for the 'Wireless switching hot key (Fn+F5)' feature.
     It is available to control the wireless radio using the following command;
        C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY\TpFnF5.exe [PARAMETER]
     The following parameters are defined;
        /WLON, /WLOFF    Turn on/off internal 802.11.
        /BTON, /BTOFF    Turn on/off internal bluetooth.
        /WANON, /WANOFF  Turn on/off internal WAN.
        /ALLON, /ALLOFF  Turn on/off any radio at once.


Installation Procedure
----------------------

Software Installer provides install wizard for this package.

Log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator.

How to install this program using the Software Installer
 1. Click Start select All Programs\ThinkVantage\Software Installer
 2. Select the option Install or upgrade driver(s) or software
 3. Follow the instructions on the screen

How to install this program without using the Software Installer
 1. Open Microsoft Windows Explorer by clicking Start and selecting 
    All Programs\Explorer or click Start Programs\Accessories\Explorer
 2. Open the directory which the package is extracted
 3. Select Setup.exe by mouse and start it
 4. Follow the instruction on the screen


Uninstallation procedure
------------------------

Software Installer provides uninstall wizard for this package

Log on with a user ID authorized as an administrator

How to uninstall this program using the Software Installer

 1. Click Start and select All Programs\ThinkVantage\Software Installer
 2. Select the option Uninstall currently installed driver or software
 3. Follow the instruction on the screen

How to uninstall this program without using the Software Installer

 1. Click Start and select Control Panel
 2. Open Add/Remove Programs
 3. Select On Screen Display
 4. Click Change/Remove
 5. Follow the instruction on the screen


Unattended installation
---------------------------

This is for system administrators' use only.

 1. Start Microsoft Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges
 2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive
 3. Click Start and then select Run
 4. Type the following command line

      C:\DRIVERS\WIN\HOTKEY\SETUP.EXE /S

 1. Click Start and select All Programs\ThinkVantage\Software Installer
 2. Select the option View driver or application version information
 3. Follow the instruction on the screen

 3. Select On Screen Display
 4. Follow the instruction on the screen
