Our current Aptiva product line is engineered and designed
to meet or exceed every requirement of our market segment's
Multimedia and Home Office computing.  For connecting it to
the Internet and Online Services, the Aptiva provides a
leading edge 28,800 baud modem using breakthrough technology
which offers the customer the ability to upgrade the modem
speed without changing the modem hardware.  However, to be able
to keep our costs, and therefore prices down, Aptiva does not
support network cards (eg. Ethernet, etc.).  Our target markets
generally do not require this method of connectivity.

Although these cards cannot be supported, it does not mean that
these connections will not work.  It simply means that we cannot
assist you with the installation, configuration, or troubleshooting
of these options under warranty agreement.  If a problem does arise,
we will verify that your system's original hardware and pre-installed
software are functioning properly as provided by the terms and
conditions of the warranty.  The Aptiva does and will continue to
offer the best Multimedia solution, with the best value to our
many customers.
