Product: 56K International PC Card Modem with GSM Capability Part number: 02K4280 (US/Canada)The file "PCCRDGSM.EXE" contains all the files that are on the diskette that ships with the "IBM International PC Card Modem with GSM Capability". The file is self extracting when executed. To extract the files, in Windows 95 or Windows NT, from the main screen, select "Start" then "RUN". Next select and open the file "PCCRDGSM.EXE". Once the files have be extracted, there should be 11 files and 11 directories. The 11 directories contain the country selector files. Those files are used to change the country to the country where the modem will be used. Modems sold in the USA have the country set to the USA by default. Out of the other 11 files, 2 are important for installing the modem. The modem INF file "MDMR8IBM.INF" and "SETUP.EXE". To use the diskette created by extracting the file "PCCRDGSM.EXE" (to install or reinstall the modem) with Windows 95 or Windows NT; select Start, then Run. Select the A: drive, the file "SETUP.EXE", then open, follow the screen prompt to complete the installation.
