RegDel v1.00 SYMPTOM: During bootup of Windows 95, the prompt to logon to the system never appears. CONFIGURATION: Any IBM system running Windows 95. SOLUTION: This program removes the Autologon registry value from the Windows 95 registry. This will cause the system to prompt the user for a logon user ID and password. To install this fix: 1. Boot Windows 95. 2. Run the file REGDEL.EXE 3. Read the this instruction file. Click Next 4. Read the License Agreement text. If you agree, click Next. 5. Leave the default extraction path as C:\DRIVERS\REGDEL. Click on Finish. 6. If prompted to create the directory, click YES. 7. If prompted to overwrite files, click YES TO ALL. 8. This program will automatically run the REGDEL program. If you wish to apply the registy fix, click on OK. Your registry file will be updated. If you do not wish to update the registry at this time, click on Exit. NOTE: To install the registry fix at a later time do the following: 1. Click on Start -> Run 2.
