SiS(R) 540 Video Driver for Windows 2000
version 1.05a README

This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R)
2000 device driver for the SiS 540 Integrated Video driver that
comes preinstalled in your IBM(R) Aptiva(R) computer. This update 
requires approximately 12 MB of space on your hard disk (drive C). 

This update package is intended for IBM Aptiva machine types 
2193-xx, and 2196-xx, and IBM NetVista machine type 2196-xx 
that come with a preinstalled SiS 540 video adapter.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.


Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the update
---------------------
1. Click Start, then click Find, and then click Files and folders.
2. Type qo5z01us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now.
   This will locate the qo5z01us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3. Double-click the icon for qo5z01us.exe. 
4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5. Click I Agree.
6. Click Finish.
7. Click Yes.
8. Click OK. Follow the onscreen prompts and choose to reboot at the 
   end of installation.
