Style A
This a cylindrical bullet, similar to original factory bullets for most black powder cartridges. The diameter at the front band is the same diameter at base band. Rounded lube grooves.

This is a two diameter bullet, having the front 3 bands slightly larger than bore diameter of barrel. Rear 3 bands are groove diameter. Rounded lube grooves.

This is a tapered bullet with the front band near bore diameter tapering to slightly larger than groove diameter. This style bullet was furnished by most of the old time barrel makers such as Harry Pope. Rounded lube grooves. This is a very popular Schuetzen bullet.

This is a Hudson bullet. This two diameter bullet has front bands near bore diameter with the two rear bands slightly larger than groove diameter. It carries plenty of lube and is a popular style.
