To ASSEMBLE the IPLCMS ipler, SETUP CMS419E
                         and  VMFASM IPLCMS LCL19E (DISK EXP

To use the IPL'er program to save the CMS3 saved system, type in
 
    SETUP CMSTOOLS
 
    IPLCMS SAVESYS CMS  CMS CMSS
              |     |    |   |----- Name of a shared segment whose
              |     |    |          starting address (in this case,
              |     |    |          4 Meg = '400 000'x) is used to
              |     |    |          determine which saved system
              |     |    |          should be IPL'ed, either
              |     |    |          the prefix || 'S' (CMSS) or
              |     |    |          the prefix || 'L' (CMSL).
              |     |    |
              |     |    |----- The prefix.
              |     |
              |     |----- The name of the saved segment to save this
              |            program in.  CMS3 is the IPL'er.  The IPL'er
              |            detaches and relinks the system disks
              |            (190, 19D, 19E, and 19F), and IPL's either
              |            CMSS or CMSL.
              |
              |----- The function of the IPLCMS module you want.

|   W A R N I N G ! ! !    John Fish put out an IPLCMS EXEC on the     |
|                          SYSTEMS disk that ignores parms and uses    |
|                          its own - the ones shown above (the correct |
|                          ones).  The (questionable) advantages of    |
|                          the EXEC are that you can say "IPLCMS" and  |
|                          do the right thing, or "IPLCMS (TST" and    |
|                          save the test saved system (TCMS3), which   |
|                          uses TSTCMSS and TSTCMSL.                   |
