To use HONE,
 
    PVM to CCDN
    From the "Welcome to Advantis" screen, type =HON or =EHN.
    LOGON to H517760   (used to be a shared id, IREK03A)
    Enter 517760 pw    (pw is sp2class as of 8-11-1998)
    ....
    (the HONE is done for you)
    FIX         to search for software fixes (equivalent to 3, then 26)
 
One handy HONE application is CFPROGS.

If you ever get locked out 'cause you haven't changed your password
in a while, logon to IREK03A via another userid (someone else in the
department), and type in NEWPASS.  On their panel where they ask you
for your serial number, enter 517760.  On the "Old password" field,
it's ok to enter an old password, even though you can't logon with it.
 
    Or better yet, call their automated help desk at 1-800-234-2414
    and go through their menu selection to reset your password.
    The new password gets sent to your JASPER at ALMADEN userid.

On 8-30-95, I got a notice that my id was locked out.  I called the
Boulder Help Desk at 1-800-234-2414, option 2, waited forever, and
was told to send a note to STELRE@BLDVMA.

On 10-1-95, HONE will drop support of PVM-ing to HONE55.  To get to
HONE55, PVM to CCDN, then select =HON.
