To create an EXECUPDT update file (for example, for SYSPROF EXEC),
 
1)  Edit the AUX file (SYSPROF AUXALM).
2)  Add another line at the TOP (R002PROF - Comment ....).
3)  Use XEDIT to create the file (X SYSPROF $EXEC (CTL DMSSP).
4)  Make the changes and file the sucker away.
 
To use EXECUPDT, say EXECUPDT SYSPROF (CTL ALMCMS NOHISTORY SID
