2005 Tasks

Continue supporting Delphion development environment.
  - Improve Sunnyvale office networking (identified switch configuration problem & fixed)
  - Configured wireless network to a minimal level.
Continue supporting Delphion production environment.
Continue supporting the Japanese Customer, Patolis


Integrate Delphion and TPS Image archives.
  - Rewrote getimage, Delphion's utility to find and get a patent's image.
  - Converted and copied 200,000 missing US images from Delphion's archive, to TPS.

Move www.delphion.com web site from the IBM-hosted Southbury site, to EDC
  - Configured Network Dispatcher.
  - Configured and populated /dfs file system.

Move San Jose office to Sunnyvale
  Go through years of junk, throwing most of it out.
  Re-rack 7 AIX servers and 5 Aureka servers to move to Eagan, upgrading
     and reconfiguring the AIX servers first to AIX 5.2, with NIS and no AFS.


Development Plan:
  - Java Servlets Class:  Finished San Jose City College class 12-19-2005
    Learned about Tomcat, DB2 on laptop, Java Servlets
  - Learn Aruba Wireless System:  Had 4-hour training session with Aruba specialist
    where we got the wireless system minimally configured.
