We've lost the AT&T Global Dialer accounts. On 3/21/2005, Mike Crom sent this out in a note as a possible, free replacement. I did some shopping, and found that there is still at least one ISP that has completely free access. Unfortunately, domestic numbers, only (no international). The login information is as follows: User ID: 0000000000@evodialer.com (ten zeros) Password: mermaid More Info at: http://database.evodialer.com/npt/page_3.htm ================================================================================ My AT&T Global Dialer account/userid/password is deph/deph137/global last changed 12-7-2004. Go to the "Administration Tools for SM" (SM stands for "Service Manager"). From the next screen, Select "User" (at the bottom of the right sidebar) to open a submenu, then "Passwords". You can then put in your admin password again, the target userid you want to change, and its new password twice. It defaults to setting their password as "Expired", which forces them to change it when they next log on. If you don't want this, you can change their default "Set Password as expired?" option to "No". Don't forget to "Resume User ID" if it's revoked. ================================================================================ If you get a screen showing you what your "Security Question" ("What is your City of Birth?") and "Security Answer" ("Lisle") are, just click on the "Update" button on the bottom of the screen. ================================================================================ Bruce & Jane had a Lotus Notes database established to maintain the Delphion AT&T Global Dialer accounts. It is/was on kangaroo and named dialer.nsf. ================================================================================ To download the latest client software, go to http://129.36.226.12, but strangely enough, this only works if you're already dialed in. Going to this web page fails otherwise. ================================================================================ On 8-16-2, I put the latest (Version 5.05) AT&T Global Dialer client code out at /afs/d/software/base/ATT_Global_Dialer_Windows_Client/ncsetup.exe. Carol found where/how to get it. Starting at - http://www.attbusiness.net - Click on "HELP CENTER" in the blue banner along the top. - Click on "DOWNLOADS" down the left-hand sidebar. - Click on the Windows, English version. The actual download link is ftp://ftp.prserv.net/pub/client/win32/ncsetup.exe - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Warning !!! Installing this software over the top of an existing version, will convert your account/userid/password information, but it doesn't convert any locations you may have defined, e.g. Lisle or Home or Japan. You may want to take a look at what you have defined before upgrading. ================================================================================
