HP DeskJet 500 / Novell netware 3.11


PROBLEM - Customer cannot get the HP DeskJet 500 printer to print when used as a remote printer with Novell netware 3.11.

The printer will not work when used as a remote printer with Novell netware 3.11. other clone system work ok. if the printer is attached directly to the VP2 system and running Lotus or Word for Windows, the printer works.

Machines AFFECTED - all VP2 systems. (S3 805 graphics chipset)
SOLUTION - This problem is fixed in the S3 Windows driver 2.4B8 which is downloadable from the IBM BBS.
