OS/2 does not recognize Windows


PROBLEM - OS/2 does not recognize that Windows 3.1 is on the system.

Systems AFFECTED - All 6384 and 6381 machines.

SOLUTION - To solve this problem check the following:
  1.  SETUP.INF...check to find out if OS/2 for Windows version  is correct.
  2.  Does WIN.COM exist in Windows path?
  3.  Verify valid SYSTEM.INI, PROGMAN.INI, CONTROL.INI, and WIN.INI.
