OEM adapters / synchr.-bus


PROBLEM - OEM adapters designed for a synchronous bus may not function in a Valuepoint system.

Machines AFFECTED - 6384 D/T with an adapter designed for a synchronous bus.

SOLUTION - Some adapters contain a jumper or switch for operating in either synchronous or asynchronous mode. Set the jumper or switch for asynchronous bus mode. Refer to the OEM adapter documentation for more information on the jumper or switch location and adapter operation.
