Token Ring 16/4 adapter II (P/N 03F0215)


PROBLEM - The Token Ring network 16/4 adapter II (P/N 03F0215) when installed in a in a 6381 will hang while attempting to remote program load OS/2 version 2.x from an OS/2 lan server. Servers with an IBMLAN\RPL\DOS\RPLBOOT.SYS date prior to 9/10/93 will experience this problem.

Machines AFFECTED - All 6381 machines.

SOLUTION - A new version of the RPLBOOT.SYS is required to fix this problem. This can be obtained by contacting OS/2 technical support and reference APAR IC05982.
