Novell netware / IDE hard disk


PROBLEM - When running Novell netware, a installation error will occur if an IDE hard disk is installed in the system.

Systems AFFECTED - All 6382/s, 6384/d, 6387/t systems using IDE hard disks and running Novell netware version 3.11.

SOLUTION - An IDE hard disk driver is required to solve this problem. the name of the driver is "IDE.DSK", and is available from netwire on Compuserve in the novlib directory or can be downloaded off the toolcat NWARE386 by IBM servicers and internal users.
