Installation Guide - Preparing the Drive for Use
Windows NT and OS/2 Users:
If you placed a 2 GB Clip jumper on the drive as directed by the Enhanced IDE Hard Disk Drive User's Guide Supplement, you must use Disk Manager to partition and format the drive. For more information, go to Partitioning and Formatting Using Disk Manager
If you are using OS/2 on the existing drive, go to Partitioning and Formatting Using OS/2.
If you are using Windows NT on the existing drive, or you will be installing Windows NT on the first drive in the computer, go to Partitioning and Formatting Using Windows NT.
If the new drive is the first drive that has been installed in the computer, and you will be installing an operating system other than Windows NT, go to Partitioning and Formatting Using Disk Manager.
