Description
The 20/h40 GB DDS-4 4mm Internal Tape Drive is an Ultra-2 SCSI 68-pin - (low voltage differential) LVD-tape drive.
Each tape cartridge can store up to 20 GB of data (uncompressed), or up to 40 GB of data (compressed), assuming a 2:1 compression ratio.
NOTE: This drive works with some non-LVD or single-ended controllers, but
at a lower performance rate.
During power-On, the tape drive performs a power-on self-test (POST) within 15 seconds and then performs a drive reset.
The DDS-4 drive can be mounted in a 3.5-inch or 5.25-inch bay (horizontally or vertically).
