Backup Patterns
A backup pattern is the way we will
back up our data. Now that we have defined the different types of
backups, the question is how should we combine them. Tape usage and
reusage are important factors, because tape management will get
complicated when dealing with a large numbers of tapes, and media costs
will rise if we do not reuse tapes.
