On-Line Mode

•  Initialization/Setup Mode
•  Off-Line Mode
•  Diagnostic Off-Line Mode
•  Autoloader Mode

After initialization, the tape library automatically enters the on-line mode.
Normal host operations (such as tape cartridge mounts and dismounts) are run in the on-line mode.
SCSI communication with the host is enabled.
The tape library changes from the on-line mode when another mode is selected from the operator panel.
