RS-232 Connector
The RS-232 connection provides a serial interface to the tape library controller.
You can connect a host computer or an external terminal to the RS-232 connection to
access diagnostic and status information, or to download new tape library firmware.
Figure 3 shows the location of the RS-232 connector on the
back panel of the tape library.
