Connecting External Devices

To attach SCSI devices to an external channel connector on the ServeRAID adapter:

1.  Connect one end of a 68-pin VHDCI SCSI cable to an external channel connector on the ServeRAID adapter.

   Note: See 'Connector Locations' for the channel connector locations.

2.  Connect the other end of the SCSI cable to the external SCSI device.
3.  Go to Chapter 3, 'Using the Configuration Programs'.
