of high-availability cluster solutions.
Chapter 2, 'Preparing to Install a High-Availability Cluster Solution', provides the information
you need to know before you start the installation and setup of a high-availability cluster solution.
It provides definitions of important terms used in this manual and some considerations you need
to be familiar with for the ServeRAID adapter.
Chapter 3, 'Configuring the ServeRAID Adapter for the High-Availability Cluster Solution', provides
the information necessary to configure the ServeRAID adapters in the two servers used in the high-availability
cluster solution.
Information also is provided for defining all shared and non-shared logical drives and setting Merge IDs.
Chapter 4, 'Installing a High-Availability Cluster Solution Using Windows NT', provides instructions
for setting up a high-availability cluster solution with Windows NT.
Chapter 5, 'Installing a High-Availability Cluster Solution Using Vinca and Novell IntranetWare', directs
you to the information needed to set up a high-availability cluster solution with Novell IntranetWare.
Chapter 6, 'Monitoring and Updating a High-Availability Cluster Solution', provides information
on how to use the ServeRAID Administration and Monitoring Utility to determine the availability of
logical drives in a cluster.
