Updating the System Configuration

Complete this procedure:

1.  Connect the power cord to the power supply.
2.  Connect all other server and device cables and connectors.
3.  Turn the server power on.
4.  Watch the monitor screen. The system automatically  accesses the Configuration/Setup program.
5.  Select Save Settings and exit the Configuration/Setup program.
6.  Insert the HardwareGuide CD  that comes with the IBM Netfinity 5500 M20  Server Library contained in  this option package,
    into the CD-ROM drive. If necessary, refer to the Server Library for information  on using the HardwareGuide CD .
7.  Restart the server.
8.  Go to Updating the System Diagnostic Programs.
