Additional Considerations

Additionally, review the following considerations:

1.  You must remove any adapter you have installed in slot 6.
    You can populate slot 5 only with a half-size adapter.
    Before you install the option, consider how  to maximize the performance of the adapters using  slots 1 through 5.
    Review the documentation that  comes with the adapters and the documentation that  comes with the server for more information.

2.  You need the following items to install the Processor Upgrade Kit.
   •  A medium flat blade screwdriver
   •  A medium Phillips screwdriver
   •  The documentation that comes with the server

3.  If you need to move the server to install the option,  arrange for additional help.
    
    Use safe practices when lifting.
