The following simplified layout of the Advanced Remote Management Controller identifies the components.

 


10/100 Ethernet Port

The Advanced Remote Management Controller contains a 10/100 Ethernet controller.

Notes:
  1.  The 10/100 Ethernet port cannot be accessed from the network operating system.
     The connector is dedicated to connecting the Advanced Remote Management Controller to an  Ethernet network through a service-processor interface, such as Netfity Manager.
  2.  The 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet standard requires the cabling in the network is Category 5 or higher.
