Rear Fan Assembly Removal

Before you begin


  When removing or replacing the fan, be sure to route the cables correctly to avoid damage to the SCSI cables and connectors.


To remove the rear fan assembly, do the following:

  1.  Remove the side cover, see 'Option Installation'.
     
  2.  Release the fan assembly latch and slide the fan up slightly -1-.
  3.  Remove the fan assembly from the server -2-
