Before you set an administrator password, you might want to first set the
drive-startup sequence, as described in 'Setting the Drive-Startup Sequence'.
If an administrator password is set and then forgotten, you
can clear the password from memory using a system (planar) board configuration switch.
To set an administrator password in the Setup program:
Start the Setup program.
Select Set Administrator Password from the Security Menu screen.
The Set Administrator Password screen appears.
Type a password in the Enter New Password data field.
NOTE: To remove an administrator password, press Ctrl+D.
Press Enter.
The cursor moves to the Confirm New Password data field.
To verify that you typed the correct password, type
the password in the Confirm New Password data
field. If you did not type the correct password, you must reenter
the password in the Enter New Password data field.
If you typed the correct password, press Enter to save it.
The password becomes effective immediately after you save it.
