Adapters
Adding an adapter, such as a communication or audio adapter, extends
the capabilities and power of the server.
For example, a RAID (redundant array of independent
disks) adapter can enhance logical-drive capacity and performance,
and continue operation after a hard-disk drive failure.
Up to six adapters can be installed in the connectors on the
system board
