My main 9595 System

To the right is the front side of my primary development machine, a 9595 with a P90 prcessor complex, 256 ECC memory, and three 2.2GB IBM hard drives. While the photo shows a SCSI cd/rw drive, it has burned its last CD and I have removed it from the computer. Drive A is the standard 2.88MB floppy drive and the B drive location has two PCMCIA slots.

I have Windows NT 4.0 installed, SP 6A. I have Visual C++ 6 installed, along with the Windows NT DDK for developing device drivers - like the panel drvier mentioned elsewhere on this site.

To the right is the back side of my primary development machine. he adapters installed are:

Compact Flash Slot Adapter

To the right is something I came up with back in 2009 while I was working on Lacuma based 7546 rack mount computer. For reasons I do not want to get into, I needed a diskless computer - no floppy drive, no hard drive (in other words, nothing that spins).

So I purchased of eBay a Compact Flash to IDE adapter for an ISA/PCI slot, removed the ISA/PCI bracket, and installed a slot bracket from a dead IBM Corvette. One may be asking about the two bolts extending out from the slot. Well, when inserting or removing a CF card, you hold onto one or the other as the slot adapter will be pushed inside. In other words, it provides stability.
