DFIPD700W - Operation failed-no communication response to TEST frame.

LBE is unable to link to the hardware bridge using Universal Administered Address (UAA) from the label.



Action

This MAY be a result of the bridge being already configured with a Locally Administerd Address (LAA)'s and no longer responding to the UAA designated on the label on the bridge. 

To determine if this is the case, first use LAN Network Manager (LNM) or the 8230 Management Facility (MF) to inspect the port and see what MAC address is connected.

As a last resort, set the bridge back to factory defaults (you will lose the configuration). The 8209 is reset by removing power, installing wrap plugs, manipulating switch 5 on the attachment module (see instruction in manual for more information).
