With the /ox parameter, WINNT and WINNT32 can be found on the Windows NT installation CD. Installation New Windows NT system Windows NT 4.0 CD ROM Installation Though Windows NT 4.0 is bootable from a CD, the latest AdvanSys driver is not embedded on the original Microsoft CD. Therefore, do not attempt to install the AdvanSys drivers directly from the Microsoft CD. Instead, follow these instructions: Step 1. Create an NT 4.0 installation diskette by following the instructions in the preceding paragraph titled, "Creating the Windows NT Installation Diskettes". Step 2. Reboot (restart) your computer with the diskettes created in the previous instruction ( see step 1.) in your boot drive, probably drive A. Step 3. When the installation program asks for a device driver, click on the "Have Disk" button. Step 4. Insert the AdvanSys "PCI ISA Universal Driver 2.6" diskette in Drive A, and press enter (return). The AdvanSys drivers will now be loaded into your system. Step 5. Restart your system in the normal way and it will begin the configuration process. NT will tell you when it has finished. Windows NT 3.51 Installation At the end of the diskette phase of a new Windows NT installation, you will be asked whether you want to: Specify Additional Driver. Answer 'yes' by selecting S. A list of drivers will be presented. From this list, select "Other". When asked to enter a diskette, insert the Windows NT AdvanSys Universal Driver diskette.
