The abV1 Graphics AdapterabV1



The Abstract Technologies abV1 offers high performance, low cost 8-bit (256 
color) 1024x768 resolution graphics. 
The abV1 is a Micro Channel adapter powered by a dedicated graphics engine at a 
maximum 76Hz non-interlaced refresh rate. The abV1 supports all 200, 300 and 500 
Series RS/6000 models and hundreds of IBM and OEM monitors (NEC, ViewSonic, 
Nanao, Sony, etc.). 
The AIXwindows drivers for the abV1 graphics adapter are highly optimized and 
support all AIXwindows 2D and 3D PEX, graPHIGS, and OpenGL applications. 
AIXwindows supports multiple displays, and the graphics adapter can be used with 
any combination of IBM display adapters to provide multi-headed graphics using 
several abV1 (or other) cards, or either may serve as the only graphics display. 
The single slot adapters come with standard installp installation, AIXwindows, 
and full LFT support. 
The abV1 for low cost graphics offers speed, versatility, and value.
