The Abstract Technologies ab1024 offers high performance, low cost 8-bit (256 
color) 1024x768 resolution graphics. 
The ab1024 is a Micro Channel adapter powered by a dedicated graphics engine 
achieving up to 150,000 10-pixel vectors/sec under AIXwindows and up to 100,000 
Xstones at a maximum 76Hz non-interlaced refresh rate. The ab1024 supports all 
200, 300 and 500 Series RS/6000 models and hundreds of IBM and OEM monitors 
(NEC, ViewSonic, Nanao, Sony, etc.). 
The AIXwindows drivers for the ab1024 graphics adapter are highly optimized and 
support all AIXwindows 2D and 3D PEX, graPHIGS, and OpenGL applications. 
AIXwindows supports multiple displays, and the graphics adapter can be used with 
any combination of IBM display adapters to provide multi-headed graphics (only 
one ab1024 adapter may be used per system), or either may serve as the only 
graphics display. The single slot adapters come with standard installp 
installation, AIXwindows, diagnostics, and full HFT support. 
The ab1024 for low cost graphics offers speed, versatility, and value.
