Introduction:
=============
  This document shows you how to setup the driver and how to use the enhanced
  functions by setting the custom keywords.

  Location of Driver:     \WIN2000\CN650EP.SYS

Contents of the Subdirectory:
=============================
    CN650EP.SYS          The NDIS5 driver for Windows 2000.
    NET650EP.INF          The installation information file.

Installation:
=============
  Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter
  is properly installed and configured.

   1.If Windows 2000 has built the driver for CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus, when you plug
     the CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus in the mother board and power on the Windows 2000, the
     Window 2000 will install the driver of CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus automatically.

     You will see there is an item:
     
        "CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus PNP Ethernet Adapter"

     in the 'Network adapters' list in the Device Manager.

     The Device Manager can be invoked by choosing Start\Control Panel\System
     \Hardware (Tag)\Device Manager (button)

     We recommend you to install the updated driver from the distributing disk
     by performing step 3 ~ 11.

   2.If Windows 2000 has not built the driver for CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus, obey
     step 5 ~ 11 to install the driver.

   3.Invoke the Device Manager. Right click the item

         "CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus PNP Ethernet Adapter"

     in the 'Network adapters' list, and choose Properties.
     There will prompt the CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus PNP Ethernet Adapter
     Properties window.

   4.Click the Driver tag, and choose the 'Update Driver' button.
     There wll prompt a Upgrade Device Driver Wizard window.
     Click 'Next'.

   5.The Wizard will ask you
     What do you want the wizard to do?
     Please choose
       Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that I can choose
       a specific driver.
     Click 'Next', it will prompt a 'Select Network Adapter' window.

   6.Click 'Have Disk'.
     In 'Install From Disk' window, type the following path in the combo list:

            A:\WIN2000

     Click 'OK'.

   7.There will show

            "CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus PNP Ethernet Adapter"

     in the 'Network Adapter' field.
     Click 'Next'.

   8.There will show

            "CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus PNP Ethernet Adapter"

     in 'Start Device Driver Installation' window.
     Click 'Next'.

   9.Windows 2000 will copy the driver and system files for the network.
     If there prompts a Digital Signature Not Found window, please click 'Yes'
     to continue the installation.

  10.Finish the 'Update Driver', and the updated driver will work for
     CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus.

  11.You will see

        "CNet PowerNIC 650Eplus PNP Ethernet Adapter"

     in the 'Network adapters' list.
