Components and their Parameters

This section explains the parameters for each component type. The yellow square in each of the images indicates the origin of the component axis system and facilitates positioning.

Mold base components

Mold Base   Parameters defined at Mold Product level:

Slider
The following rules apply to some parameters:
  • if HP >= H then HP = H - 1
  • if HD >= HF then HF = HD + 1
  • if HF > H then HF = H
  • if HT > HP then HT = HP
  • if LP > L then LP = L
  • if AnglePinD >= W then AnglePinD = W - 1
  • if AnglePinD >= LP then AnglePinD = LP - 1
  • if AnglePinPos >= LP+AnglePinD/2 then AnglePinPos = LP + AnglePinD/2 - 1
  • if AnglePinPos <= AnglePinD/2 then AnglePinPos = AnglePinD/2 + 1
Retainer
If you select a slider that corresponds to a retainer (while the retainer creation dialog box is open) the retainer parameters are automatically adapted to match those of the slider.
