When creating a machining simulation, users cannot get a
rational result unless they can lock one axis on a parallel or peripheral
axis machine. Otherwise, there are potentially infinite solutions
to moving the machine in a particular direction. In the case of the parallel axis machine shown below, two axes, labeled Axis Z and Axis W move in parallel. |
