Create a Multi-Axis Sweeping Operation

This operation will use the tool proposed by the program, so you just need to specify the geometry to be machined, set some of the machining parameters.
You must specify View and Start directions to define the guiding plane for the operation.

1. Select the Multi-Axis Sweeping icon .
   A Multi-Axis Sweeping.1 entity along with a default tool is added to the program.
   
   The Multi-Axis Sweeping dialog box appears directly at the Geometry tab page
   

2. Right click the red Part Body area in the icon and choose the Select faces contextual command.
   The Face Selection toolbar appears.

3. Select two faces of the part as shown. Click OK in the toolbar to end face selection.
   

4. Select the Strategy tab page and set the Machining, Radial and Tool Axis parameters as shown.
   
   
   

5. Click the View Direction arrow (V) and set the view direction in the dialog box as shown.
   

6. Click the Start Direction arrow (S) to make sure the direction is (1,0,0).

7. Click OK to create the operation.
