Rotating a Curve

This task shows you how to rotate a curve around one of the three axes of the handle.
Open the ModifyCurve3.CATPart document.

  1. Click Modification .

  2. Select the curve.

  3. Click Transformations .

  4. Click Rotation .

  5. Click the curve to position the manipulators depending on the mouse cursor position.

  6. Move the mouse cursor to highlight the desired rotation axis.

  7. Hold down the left-mouse button and drag to rotate the surface.

  8. Release the left-mouse button when you are satisfied with the new position of the surface.
 
You can press Ctrl while in the command to rotate the surface in five degree increments.
